Do I need Publisher on my computer?
No. The conversion runs on our server. You only need a web browser, on Windows, Mac, a Chromebook or a tablet.
What happens to my files?
They are used only to make your PDFs and previews, and they are deleted from our servers 24 hours after you upload them. Nobody looks at them and we never share them.
Will the PDF look exactly like it did in Publisher?
Most files look the same. Some fonts that came with Microsoft Office can't be used on our server, so we use fonts with the same letter widths and the lines break in the same places. That's why you see every page before you pay.
Which Publisher versions work?
Files from Publisher 2000 up to Microsoft 365 work best, and many Publisher 98 files work too. If a very old file can't be converted, you'll see that in the list and you won't pay for it.
How does paying work?
Your first 3 files are free. After that you buy a pack of credits once: one credit converts one file, however many pages it has. Credits never expire. Payment is handled by Polar, and you can get a refund within 14 days.
Can I convert to Word instead?
Not yet. A PDF keeps your layout exactly, opens on every computer and phone, and can be imported into Canva or Word if you want to edit it.
How many files can I convert at once?
Up to 2,000 files in one go, up to 100 MB per file and 2 GB in total. You can drop a whole folder with its subfolders, or a .zip file.
Do I keep my folder structure?
Yes. The download is one zip file with every PDF in the same folder it came from, plus a report.csv listing each file, its page count and whether it converted.
What does the watermark look like, and is it on my PDF?
The preview has a light, repeated "PREVIEW" line across each page so you can check the layout. The PDF you download has no watermark and keeps the full quality.
What if a file doesn't convert?
It's marked in the list with the reason and it's never charged. Files that aren't Publisher files (some security keys also end in .pub) are recognised and left out.
Do I need an account?
Not to upload and preview. When you download, we ask for your e-mail and send you a sign-in link. There is no password. Your e-mail keeps track of your free files and credits.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of buying a pack, no questions asked. Write to us or reply to your receipt.
Do you offer more than 1,000 files?
